Hello all, thanks for visiting my portfolio site. Well, if you dare have the patience to read through my bio below…by all means, knock your socks off.

I’ve traveled many roads in this journey of life, and I’ve definitely had my share of ups and downs (as I’m sure many of us have). Fortunately for me, things finally seem to be falling into place. After many long years of trying to figure out my true identity, I think I’ve finally found my niche.
I’ve always been intrigued with art and design, but always thought art was only for those that were born with it. Growing up, I was never the best artist in the class, nor the most creative. But I can definitely say I was the most passionate. I have always looked up to those who seemed to have imagination running through their veins, and even more so to those that were able to express themselves through art. This was always a problem for me as I was never really good at art through traditional mediums, i.e. painting, sculpture, etc..

Enter the Digital Age.

I had my first taste of Digital Art in high school, when I enrolled in the Graphic Arts program. I learned everything from Silk Screening to Press Production, and even a little Photography. But my fascination for design really took off when I first used Adobe Photoshop. I believe back then they were on version 4. I was so amazed at the power and capabilities of this program, and wanted to know more. Unfortunately, as with most seniors in High School, my main focus at the time was just getting out of High School.
After High School, I definitely took a fork in the road and went with a more stable career plan. I’ve always considered myself more of a left-brainer, who was dying to unleash the more creative right brain side. Sticking with my left-brain fundamentals, I decided to try a career in engineering. I received a degree in Computer Aided Drafting from ITT Technical Institute here in San Diego, and entered the Mechanical Engineering field shortly after. I continued on this path for five long years and worked my way up to a Mechanical Design position. Then one day I woke up and realized that engineering wasn’t for me. It was a very educational five years, and I do have to say if given the chance…I definitely wouldn’t change a thing.
I met two very inspirational people during this time, and I owe them everything for shaping me into the person I am today. They taught me the fundamentals of hard work and determination, and have given me the drive to pursue my own career goals. So the least I can do is acknowledge them in hopes that some day they will read this and understand how much I appreciate everything they have done for me. Thanks Chris and Paul.

Ok, so bringing you back after going off on that tangent...

…five years of engineering and I figured, there has to be something else out there for me. It did take some time for me to figure out want that something was, but I’m proud to say the search is over.

After looking into a few schools here in San Diego, I found a school that offered programs that I thought would best highlight my skills. I decided on Platt College, a design school located in El Cajon, California. I couldn’t have asked for more in a design school and Platt has given me the education and opportunity to pursue my career goals. After graduation, I was also fortunate enough to land an awesome job working for the San Diego Chargers in the Web/ Video Department. After working for the Chargers for almost two seasons I decided to pursue video production more aggressively. After a few discussions with my brothers (also videoholics), the three of us launched L3 Creations in 2007. A startup videography business aimed at producing high-end Digital video...
